The night I arrived Sarajevo, it was celebrating the final game of the local soccer team and the city was filled with excited supporters. The whole place roaring with the warning flare burning and surrounded by smoke, it was hard to recall the calmness during the daytime. I was led to a house for tea on the way and there, I was shown a video documenting a town attacked by terrorists which made me a little worried. But once you see the buildings here, it was obvious that the people still feel insecure. I was warned not to immoderately enter any grass fields because of the land miles still waiting to be removed. The dust flew up into the blue sky and emphasized the dry air. We went to a restaurant along the river which was now an area for tourists. As I had my lunch and watched some people enjoying their water tobacco, little by little I felt a sense of comfort.
